The Da Vinci Studio School of Science and Engineering will reflect the local tradition of innovative science and engineering.

The Da Vinci Studio School, sponsored by North Hertfordshire College, will offer mainstream qualifications delivered through the Studio School model of enquiry based cross curricular learning, intensive personal development, a rich science and engineering curriculum and fully embedded links to the world of work. It will have a close connection with local science and engineering employers who will be involved in all aspects of the curriculum. Pupils will receive personal coaching and their learning will be closely matched with the industries they plan to work in.

Key employers involved with the project are AMCO FM, Astrium Ltd, MBDA, Monarch Airlines, Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst, Weldability and Wenta.

Applications to join to the Da Vinci Studio School in year 10 this September are now being accepted.

Titan the Robot and the promise of spectacular science and extraordinary experiments attracted over 600 visitors experienced a day of spectacular science and extraordinary experiments at the Da Vinci Studio School’s Science and Engineering festival this week.

Principal Designate announced for new Stevenage Studio School

Donna Lodge has been appointed as Principal Designate of the new Da Vinci Studio School of science and engineering opening in Stevenage this September.

Specialist Studio School to open in Stevenage

The Da Vinci Studio School, sponsored by North Hertfordshire College (NHC), is one of 12 new Studio Schools announced by Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Education, and will specialise in science and engineering.
